Your resume is just the beginning of the process and should be treated as such. Your resume should contain current contact information, your education profile, your skills, experience and accomplishments. Your work experience should include the name, location and correct dates of every job you’ve held for at least the last ten years.
Always bear in mind that your resume needs to be directly applicable to the role you are applying for. Read the full job description and use as many of their words in your resume (providing it is a verifiable fact) as possible. Lack of time forces many great recruiters and hiring managers to resort to scanning for key words. You want to grab their attention and keep it.
